Merry Christmas PolyMX

2018 is coming to an end.
Time to think over the past year, which has gone by so fast.
We want to thank our partners and end users for the ungoing faith and trust in our company and team!

Because of Christmas Holidays, PolyMX is closed from Monday, December 24, 2018 up to and including Wednesday January 2, 2019.
Even though we'll enjoy our holidays, we are ready to start the new year full enthusiasm!

We want to wish all our employees, customers, relations and suppliers a Merry Christmas and above all a healthy 2019!

PolyMX Sustainability is more than fashionable. Its a way of business

More and more companies in the packaging industry are switching to the use of recycled cardboard to make their production process more sustainable. However, existing ejection materials are often too hard for these easily damaged paper types, so the desired quality is not achieved. After two years’ development work, PolyMX is the first player on the market to succeed in producing a far softer ejection material. This softness means the user can supply topflight products, irrespective of the cardboard type.

Shore A10 is suitable for both rotary and flatbed dies and is available in heights of between 7 and 16 mm. This solution will enable packaging companies to supply top-quality products while still satisfying all the recycling requirements and sustainability goals.

The biggest advantage of the softer material is the reduction of cracking along the inside lines. In addition, even with this Polytop MX® variant, the lower hardness of the ejection material does not mean a shorter useful life; it is just as long-lasting as the harder material variants. Furthermore, the lighter weight means a saving on transport costs.

Melissa Monster-van Golverdingen, director of PolyMX explained, “We are extremely proud of the result. After two years of research work, we have succeeded in developing a material that will enable our users to deliver perfectly finished products to their customers. We always aim to help our users achieve their goals; one of the ways we do this is by constantly coming up with ground-breaking products and services. Shore A10 is our latest contribution, and initial reactions from the market have been extremely positive.”

We are pleased to announce you that PolyMX and the German company Cito Systems bought 50% of the shares of PolyMX.

Last years, PolyMX is, partly thanks to the product Polytop MX®, grown into an international company. PolyMX has always been a family owned company and with this (small) team, we have introduced and marketed products to be proud of. However, the core of PolyMX has always been to develop and produce polyurethane products. The knowledge and experience regarding the production of high quality products is where the power of PolyMX is situated.
Cito, on the other hand, is a company with a worldwide sales network and many years of experience in the die cutting industry. This offers us the opportunity to strengthen our sales-force and at the same time, focus again at doing wherever we are good at: improve and introduce products which provide added value to the die cutting industry.

PolyMX will soon expand the production capacity to be able to upscale the sales. Besides, in close cooperation with the R&D department of Cito, we will focus at the implementation of product improvements and develop new products that will optimise the die cutting process. The coming period will be used to find out if more synergy effects can be realised for our customers as a result of this cooperation.

Folding carton is used for packaging that has to catch the eye, but - not to forget - also needs extra eyes of the producer.

For example packaging for pharmacy or food and beverage packaging.  Also for these applications Polytop MX® has proven to be extremely succesfull.

Contribute to the world of tomorrow, that's also one of the missions of PolyMX.
Of course we do everything possible to minimize CO2 emissions, but we also find it important to do something to compensate. Because no matter how hard we try, completely elimination of CO2 emissions is not yet a possibility.

That is why we have chosen to plant new trees through the organization Trees for All, which is the only foundation in the Netherlands with a CBF-hallmark. The projects of Trees for All have an economic, ecological and social value to society and contribute to a healthier climate. More information about Trees for All can be found at: www.treesforall.nl

As result of some great teamwork with partners and the R&D employees of PolyMX, we have been able to produce 18 mm sheets. One of the benefits of PolyMX being supplier as well as producer is that we stand open for suggestions and wishes of the market and if possible, can produce it at demand.
If you are also dealing with a challenge and need PolyMX to think along, you're more than welcome to contact us.

Currently, the 18 mm sheets are available in Shore hardness A35, 40, 45 and 50.
